YANGON, March 26 (Xinhua) -- Four people were killed and eight others injured after a passenger bus crashed in Myanmar's southern Bago region, said the Ministry of Home Affairs on Tuesday.
The crash took place in Kyauktaga township in early hours of Monday.
With 42 passengers on board, a passenger bus tried to overtake a truck in the front and crashed into the truck on Yangon-Mandalay highway at 3:03 a.m. local time.
The injured were brought to the nearby Myo Chaung township hospital and Pyu General Hospital for treatment.
The bus driver was charged for negligent driving by the highway police.
