ACCRA, June 5 (Xinhua) -- Ghana's Black Princesses, the nation's U-20 women soccer team, will embark on a three-nation training tour in Singapore, China and Spain as part of preparations for the upcoming FIFA World Cup in France, local media reported on Tuesday.
The Princesses are expected to participate in an invitational tournament in Singapore dubbed the "Kubber Challenge Cup" from June 11 to 18.
From Singapore, the team will travel to China for its second invitational competition from July 1 to 9 before heading for Spain for a two-week final preparation ahead of the U-20 women World Cup.
Ghana are pitted against hosts France, New Zealand and the Netherlands in Group A.
The Princesses will play the opening game against France on Aug. 5.
They next play the Netherlands on Aug. 8 and complete the Group A contest with the final game against New Zealand four days later.
The 2018 FIFA U-20 women's World Cup will be contested by 16 teams from six confederations between Aug. 5 and 24.
Ghana's Black Princesses have played at four previous World Cups since their debut in 2008.
